The rear side of this television comes with a matte finish plastic covering.

Unlike other televisions, the Samsung QA55LS03TAKXXL has a clever method to hide the cables by having a separate connection box with all the ports.

This makes the TV look almost like a photo frame hanging on the wall, which is why the company rightfully named this TV “The Frame”. The Samsung QA55LS03 is hands down one of the best looking smart TVs available in the Indian market at present.

Overall, a well-built device with a premium feel is what we can say about the build.

Pros

Minimal yet elegant design

Robust build quality

Bass reflex speakers

Cons

Reflective screen

Sony was and is still one of the most respectable manufacturers of home appliances out there in terms of market innovation and build quality.

The Bravia 43X7500H is a 43-inch 4K UHD LED TV from Sony with some great features hidden up its sleeve, priced just around Rs.50,000 in India.

Design and Build Quality

The build quality of this device is exceptional.

The design itself makes sure that the premium feel equates with a stylish yet durable construction.

If you are a fan of wall-mounted TV’s, there are mounting brackets with plates that would fix this TV just like a photo frame that will blend with the wall seamlessly.

The bundled stands will let you place the TV on a flat surface such as a tabletop straight out of the box.

The fit and finish of this smart LED TV is excellent for the price and matches the expectations we had from an established brand such as Sony.

Connectivity Features

The Sony Bravia 43X7500H comes with the following I/O ports onboard:

  • 3 x HDMI ports
  • 2 x USB ports
  • 1 x RJ45 LAN port
  • 1 x RF antenna port
  • 1 x headphone out

Display

The display on this device is a 43-inch 4K UHD triluminos panel with a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels.

The main USP and the feature that makes this product one of the best-LED TVs in India under Rs. 50,000 is the triluminos display.

If we compare this display which can show up to a hundred shades of a specific colour, the triluminos display can show up to a thousand shades of the same. This increases the colour accuracy of the TV that beats the competitor display by leaps and bounds.

The screen is very bright with accurate colours, thanks to the X-Reality Pro engine.

This panel has a colour gamut of about 96% which is impressive at this price point.

The native refresh rate of this display is 50Hz but Sony’s motion flow technology enhances it to about 200Hz.

In terms of pure display quality, we would choose this model over any other competitors on this list to be the best LED TV priced under Rs. 50,000 in India.

Smart Features

Apart from the display quality, Sony touts this TV as an internet TV powered by Google-certified Android TV OS.

It comes with pre-installed apps including Netflix, Youtube as well as photo-sharing apps like 500px.

Additionally, you can install apps and games from the Google play store to the internal storage just like you would do with your smartphone.

There are dedicated Netflix and Youtube buttons on the remote which can be used for one-touch access to these services.

Audio

There are two 10W speakers on this device.

The sound output is quite loud and clear with balanced mid and lows that enhances the overall music listening experience.

However, we’d suggest you invest in a good home theatre for the best possible surround sound experience.

Verdicts

We think the Sony Bravia 43X7500H is unmatched when it comes to the natural colours and excellent contrast ratio of the triluminos panel inside this TV.

Thanks to the Motionflow XR and the interpolated refresh rate, action scenes and sports seem so smooth and addictive to watch.

Design and Build Quality

Most of the budget LED TVs now selling in the market do feature more or less the same design.

This helps them save a lot of money in the manufacturing process.

The Kodak 43UHDX7XPRO has a relatively slim profile and has narrow bezels at the sides of the display.

All the ports are present in the backside. This might pose an issue to reach the connections when the device is wall mounted.

The plastics used in the build are of average quality and don’t feel cheap either.

Connectivity Features

  • 3 x HDMI ports

This is an HDR10 supported panel with good dynamic range and colour accuracy.

Smart TV Features

Audio

The Panasonic TH-58HX450DX has two speakers rated at 10W each for audio output.

While these speakers sound decent enough inside small rooms, we suggest you purchase a compatible home theatre speaker system for achieving the full-blown cinematic surround sound experience.

Verdict

The Panasonic TH-58HX450DX smart LED TV offers a premium visual experience with its bezel-less display and vivid and punchy colours.

Sanyo is a Japanese subsidiary of the famous Panasonic brand. Currently, they are in the market with budget LED TVs that offer the best bang for buck proposition.

The Sanyo XT-55UHD4S is one of the premium UHD TVs from the Kaizen lineup running on top of Google’s Android OS, priced well under Rs.50,000.

Design and Build Quality

The first thing that you will notice on the Sanyo XT-55UHD4S is its narrow bezels around the screen.

They are very thin and it almost feels like the front is covered entirely with the display panel.

The plastic back housing is tough and well-built. There are several vents to dissipate the heat out properly.

Connectivity Features

The Sanyo XT-55UHD4S comes with the following I/O ports onboard:

  • 3 x HDMI port
  • 2 x USB port
  • 1 x headphone jack
  • 1 x Optical audio port
  • 1 x RJ45 LAN port
  • 1 x RF antenna port

Display

The Sanyo XT-55UHD4S features a large 55-inch 4K UHD panel with a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels.

The viewing angles are excellent on this display. The colours are punchier and the visuals are detailed and crisp.

This is an HDR panel with support for newer HDR formats such as HDR10 and HLG.

When this display is hooked up to an Xbox or PlayStation, the games run smoothly with great response times and no noticeable frame drops.

The micro dimming capability of this display helps it to achieve deeper blacks and brighter whites, resulting in enhanced dynamic range coverage and colour accuracy.

Audio

There are 2x10W speakers on this device that sounds loud and audible even if the device is placed in a large enough room.

These Dolby audio certified speakers sound good inside small rooms but if you want the true surround sound experience, invest in a good home theatre system

Smart Features

You can either connect this device to the internet with the built-in WiFi or via the ethernet port on this device.

This TV runs on top of pure Android TV OS based on Android version 9.0 Pie.

Apps like Youtube and Netflix are preinstalled on this television and you can download and install all the popular apps directly from the Google Play store.

The UI is nice and intuitive to use and there are a plethora of screen modes to choose from.

The remote control has one-touch buttons to access Netflix and Youtube.

Verdict

The Sanyo XT-55UHD4S is one of the few televisions priced under Rs.50,000 that performs equally well across different functions.

This LED TV is very energy efficient. It means that watching this television for longer hours won’t blow a hole in your pocket when it comes to electricity consumption.

    • Hi Rahul!

For excellent customer service and product reliability, it is always advisable to go for product from established brands with nationwide customer service centers. With that said, we’d suggest you to check out the LG 55NANO86TNA 55-inch QLED 4K TV, the Samsung Q70RAK 55-inch QLED 4K TV and the Sony KD-43X8000H 43-inch 4K LED TV. All these three TVs come with smart connectivity options on board and cost below Rs.1,00,000 in the Indian market.

      • I want 49inch 4k smart tv. I am thinking of Sony 49X8000H but there is a difference of edge LED (in 49inch model) and direct led (in above 49inch model) and some people are saying to go with direct ped, so which one to go with.
If some another suggestion please help me with that

      • Hi Rahul!

Direct LED TVs offers a much more uniform back lighting and minimize light bleeding in the corners of the panel. Edge LED TVs are however, slimmer, energy efficient and cheaper. If budget is not as major concern, you should always go with an LED TV with DLED panel.

The Sony 49X800H is a very capable LED TV with smart connectivity for a budget under Rs.50,000. But we’d also suggest you to check out the TCL 50C715, which is a 50-inch Android powered Direct LED panel TV priced around Rs.40,000 in the Indian market.

  2. I was in search of a good reliable 50″ 4K Television and which should be priced under 40,000 INR. Recently I’ve seen many positive reviews on NOKIA (50TAUHDN) and TCL (P715) models. So, which one should I’ve to pick out of these two? If not so what will be your suggestion rather then these two?

    • Hi Dilip!

Between the Nokia 50CAUHDN and the TCL P715, we’d suggest you go with the TCL P715. TCL is known for their display quality prowess and this TV especially comes with better sound output than the former and has side mounted I/O ports that are much easier to plug in to the than the rear mounter ports of the Nokia P715. In terms of overall performance, both these TV’s comes very close as they both run on Android TV OS from Google. If you don’t mind the lack of Android TV OS, but can live with the Tizen OS from Samsung, the Samsung UA43TU is an excellent 4K smart TV priced under Rs.40,000 as well.
