1. Samsung Galaxy F62

Samsung Galaxy F62

Overall Best Pick

  • Powerful Exynos CPU
  • Gorgeous OLED display
  • Intuitive One UI

Decent quad cameras

Robust build quality

Side-mounted fingerprint scanner

The Galaxy F62 is the second smartphone offering from the Samsung F series lineup after the much-praised F41.

Priced under Rs.25,000, the Samsung Galaxy F62 competes with the premium mid-range smartphones from Xiaomi and Realme.

Design and Build Quality

The Samsung Galaxy F62 has a glass front with a plastic frame and plastic back construction.

The sleek design of this smartphone makes it look and feel premium in hand. The laser gradient design is unique from the rest of the smartphones in this price bracket.

Weighing at 218g, the Samsung Galaxy F62 is not at all a lightweight smartphone. The mammoth 7000mAh battery inside makes this device feel like a brick in hand.

The rear section has the square camera bump which houses the quad cameras and an assisting LED flashlight.

The volume rockers and the power button is positioned on the right side of the plastic middle frame. The power button doubles up as the fingerprint scanner, even though this smartphone comes with an OLED display.

Fortunately, Samsung has retained the 3.5mm headphone jack on this smartphone.

Displays are always the strong forte of Samsung smartphones.

The Samsung Galaxy F62 features a 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED Plus panel with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels.

This is perhaps one of the best smartphone displays in the sub. Rs.25,000 price segment. The colours look vibrant and vivid and the blacks appear inky deep.

This is a standard 60Hz refresh rate panel which is a bit of a letdown considering some other manufacturers market their smartphones half the price with high refresh rate panels.

With a peak brightness level of 420 nits, this gorgeous OLED panel is a joy to use indoors and is fairly visible outdoors, under direct sunlight as well.

Processor and Performance

The Samsung Galaxy F62 packs the Exynos 9825 octa-core processor clocked at 2.7GHz. This CPU is built on the energy-efficient 7nm process that ensures uncompromised performance without being too much of a sucker for power.

The 6GB RAM on board makes sure that everything runs fine without any sort of lags or stutters. Even with multitasking, the Samsung Galaxy F62 provides a pleasant experience.

Be it gaming or any other resource-intensive apps, the Galaxy F62 manages to run them without breaking a sweat.

The 128GB storage makes sure that there is enough free space to save media files and miscellaneous content.

The Samsung Galaxy F62 runs on the latest Android 11 OS with the latest One UI 3.1 on top.

This premium mid-range smartphone from Samsung comes with a quad rear camera setup consisting of the 64MP primary camera accompanied with 12MP ultrawide, 5MP macro and a 5MP depth sensor.

The photos from the primary camera turn out to be detailed and colour accurate. The dynamic range is wide and well articulated in the photos. The ultrawide shooter fares reasonably well in terms of colour accuracy and saturation.

The depth sensor helps the primary camera to take good quality portrait mode photos with bokeh effects whereas the macro sensor allows to click photos much closer to the subject.

Both the front and rear cameras are capable of recording 4K videos at 30fps.

The 32MP punch hole camera up front captures excellent selfie shots with good skin tones and details when shot under adequate lighting conditions.

Battery Life

The Samsung Galaxy F62 packs in a huge 7000mAh battery inside that will last for two days even with heavy usage.

The included 25W charging brick juices up this battery within 2.15 hours.

Thanks to the mammoth battery inside, this smartphone supports reverse charging. You can charge your other devices from this phone by using a compatible cable.

Looking for a non-Chinese smartphone with excellent performance and a gorgeous OLED display? The Samsung Galaxy F62 checks almost all the right boxes if your budget is around Rs.25,000.

Redmi Note 10 Pro Max is the latest offering from the Redmi Note series lineup succeeding the Note 9 Pro Max released last year.

Redmi Note 10 Pro Max is the first-ever Note series smartphone from Redmi to feature an AMOLED display instead of the LCD.

Design and Build Quality

The Redmi Note 10 Pro Max has a glass sandwich design similar to that of its predecessor, the Note 9 Pro Max.

The front glass is protected by Corning’s Gorilla Glass 5 but Xiaomi hasn’t mentioned any such protection to the rear glass.

The main difference in terms of design between the Note 9 Pro Max and the Note 10 Pro Max is the camera bump design. The rear quad camera setup now rests towards the left side.

The volume rockerz and the power button that doubles up as a fingerprint scanner is positioned at the right side of the frame. While the Type-C charging port is situated at the bottom, the IR blaster and the 3.5mm headphone jack flanks to the top section.

The Redmi Note 10 Pro Max features dual stereo speakers for loud and clear sound output.

By no means is the Redmi Note 10 Pro max a phone for single-handed usage. You should be careful about the phone tipping from your hands if used with a single hand.

The Redmi Note 10 Pro Max features a 6.67-inch 120Hz Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels.

This gorgeous OLED display has a 395ppi pixel density that results in sharp and clean visuals as well as text without any pixelations whatsoever.

The front screen is protected by Corning’s Gorilla Glass 5 to minimize the chance of accidental scratches.

The colours on this panel look gorgeous. This is an HDR10 certified panel with an excellent contrast ratio and brightness levels. If you are a media consumption enthusiast, you’ll love this display for sure.

The enhanced 120Hz refresh makes everything feel buttery smooth. The scrolling animations to the gaming visuals – it is a league apart when compared with the standard 60Hz displays out there.

Last but not the least, this OLED panel has a peak brightness of 1200nits, making it one of the brightest panels in this price segment.

Processor and Performance

The Redmi Note 10 Pro Max is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G octa-core SoC clocked at 2.3GHz.

This processor coupled with the Adreno 618 GPU runs the show pretty effortlessly – be it casual usage or heavy gaming.

The 6GB RAM does a good job in keeping the apps in memory most of the time, even during multitasking.

The 128GB UFS2.2 storage offers faster data transfers and superior day to day performance. You have the provision to increase the storage further with the help of a micro SD card.

This smartphone comes with the MIUI 12 skin on top of the latest Android 11 OS.

The Redmi Note 10 Pro Max for the first time in the budget smartphone segment has brought the 108MP Samsung HM2 sensor to the market with this smartphone.

This is an f/1.9 dual pixel PDAF supported sensor that captures the photos and videos with a lot of details without compromising on the colour profile at all.

The feature-rich camera app has a host of nifty tricks that will help you fine-tune the photos and videos to match your expectations.

The rest of the cameras include the 8MP ultrawide sensor, 5MP macro and the 2MP depth sensor for bokeh mode photos.

The rear camera is capable of 4K video recording up to 30fps. Even the macro mode camera can record close up videos at 1080p resolution.

In the front, the 16MP sensor does a decent enough job to capture good looking selfies, but at times the quality is questionable mainly due to the software oversharpening.

Battery Life

The Redmi Note 10 Pro Max is powered by a 5020mAh battery and with moderate to normal use this phone will last you a day of usage.

Do note that a higher refresh rate might accelerate the battery drain but it is not drastic as we expected.

Xiaomi has bundled the 33W fast charger inside the box that will charge up the battery from 0-60% in just 30 minutes.

The Redmi Note 10 Pro Max is a feature-packed Android smartphone that checks most of the right boxes for a budget of Rs.20,000.

Oppo is a major global smartphone manufacturer based in China known for its flagship as well as affordable Android smartphone lineup.

The F19 Pro from Oppo is one of the latest mid-range Android smartphones launched as a successor to the popular F17 Pro smartphone and retails in the Indian market for just Rs.21,490.

Design and Build Quality

Design is one of the strong fortes for Oppo smartphones from day one. The premium look and feel of Oppo smartphones made them stand out from the rest of the competitors.

The same is the case with the Oppo F19 Pro. The high-quality polycarbonate back with glossy back reminds us of glass-backed smartphones but with the advantage of reduced weight.

However, the glossy back is a fingerprint magnet and you might want to use this smartphone with a cover to avoid fingerprint smudges.

The fit and finish of this smartphone is well worth the asking price. Weighing at just 172g, this device is easy to carry around and use with a single hand.

At the bottom section of the frame, we have the 3.5mm audio jack. Type-C charging/data syncing port and the single speaker.

The power button and the volume rockers are on the right side of the frame, easily accessible to the fingers.

This mid-range Android device from Oppo features an in-display fingerprint scanner that is quite fast and accurate in unlocking the device.

The Oppo F19 Pro features a 6.43-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels.

Being an OLED panel, the colours are vibrant with inky deep blacks and an impressive contrast ratio.

Thanks to the 409ppi pixel density, the visuals and text appear sharp and clean without any sort of pixelations whatsoever.

This is a standard 60Hz refresh rate panel but with an enhanced touch response sampling rate of 180Hz.

This OLED panel comes with a peak brightness of 800nits, ideal for effortless indoors as well as outdoor usage.

Processor and Performance

The processor inside the Oppo F19 Pro is the MediaTek Helio P95 which is an octa-core CPU that offers smooth performance with decent power consumption.

The 8GB LPDDR4X RAM onboard makes sure the apps and games run just fine without any sort of lags or stutters, even while multitasking.

Most of the modern gaming titles such as COD: Mobile and PUBG can be played at high graphics settings without any frame drops.

The 128GB UFS2.1 storage is fast enough to deliver stutter free everyday usage and you can further increase the storage capacity with the help of an SD card slot.

Oppo F19 Pro comes loaded with the ColorOS 11.1 skin running on top of the latest Android 11 OS. The new generation of ColorOS has been greatly redefined to embrace minimalism and it runs butter smooth as advertised.

The Oppo F19 Pro sports a quad-camera setup in the rear consisting of a 48MP primary shooter followed by an 8MP ultrawide, 2MP macro and a 2MP B&W lens.

The primary shooter has an aperture size of f/1.7 and supports phase detection autofocus. The pictures and videos from this camera come out clean and rich in details with close to natural colour tones.

There is a slight change in the colour tone when switched to the wide-angle shooter, but that has to be expected with budget smartphones.

The rear cameras can record 4K videos at 30fps while the front camera caps the video at 1080p/30fps.

The 16MP selfie camera works just fine, but the skin tone appears to be a little soft but nothing major that can’t be fixed with a software update in the future.

Battery Life

The Oppo F19 Pro is powered by a 4310mAh that easily lasts for a day on normal to heavy use.

Oppo has included a 30W charger inside the box that juices up the battery from 0-100% in just 1 hour 15 minutes.

If you’re after a lightweight device that has an awesome display and decent performance, then Oppo F19 Pro is the best choice for you.

Realme has been closely trailing behind Redmi for a while in the smartphone market.

With the all-new Realme 8 Pro, the company has upped the ante in the budget smartphone segment with cutting edge features at an affordable price point.

Design and Build Quality

The Realme 8 Pro has a plastic back with the prominent “Dare to Leap” tagline that covers the entire backplate of this smartphone.

Talking about the other design aspects, the quad-camera setup at the back looks nice and the shimmering design of this smartphone will suit anyone’s personality.

This device has curved sides on the back and it won’t slip from the hands that easily.

This smartphone has a slim profile and weighs 176 grams which means it is convenient for one-hand usage.

Smartphones that come under Rs.20,000 mostly have side-mounted fingerprint scanners but the Realme 8 Pro has the under-display fingerprint scanner which works swiftly.

Realme has not traded any ports – there is a standard USB-C port for charging and data transfer, and an audio jack to experience the immersive sound quality using wired earphones.

The Realme 8 Pro features a 6.4-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED punch-hole display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels.

This display has a tall aspect ratio of 20:9 and an impressive 90.8% screen to body ratio, which means you will have an immersive experience on media consumption and while gaming.

The colour reproduction is phenomenal with the colours looking vivid and punchy with inky deep blacks. With a peak brightness of 1000 nits, you can use this smartphone outdoors without any issues.

Realme has missed the higher refresh rate but it does have a touch sampling rate of 180Hz which gives you a slight edge in gaming.

The panel has a rich pixel count of 409-PPI and as a result, the visuals and text look sharp and clean.

Processor and Performance

The showrunner of the Realme 8 Pro is the popular Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G octa-core processor clocked at 2.3GHz.

The 8GB LPDDR4X RAM onboard provides smooth performance on everyday use and there is no lag or stutter seen while multitasking.

You will find no lag or stutter in gaming either and most of the high-end games in Android will be playable at 40-45 fps.

From the provided 128GB UFS 2.1 storage, you will get somewhere around 100GB to use as the rest of the space is reserved by the OS and pre-installed apps.

This UFS storage also plays an important role in device performance. The app loading speed will be much faster and copy/paste files from one folder to another; it will be done in a snap.

Finally, Realme devices have started to ship with the latest Android 11 out of the box. This one comes pre-installed with the new Realme UI 2 based on Android 11.

The Realme 8 Pro houses the quad-camera setup which includes 108MP primary lens, an 8MP ultrawide lens, a 2MP macro, and a 2MP depth sensor.

The main camera performs well in daylight conditions, the dynamic range is good and the images look rich and vivid.

Also, the details in the photos are excellent. The ultrawide take similar photos just as the main lens but the details in ultrawide aren’t that great.

The portrait comes out good and even in video recording, you can select live video mode in which it blurs the background.

The camera app is full of features, the night mode is available in wide and ultrawide. Photos taken in night mode look good with little to no noise.

You can record videos from the rear and front camera at the same time, this feature got popular after Samsung introduced Director’s view in their flagship S-series lineup.

The 16MP selfie camera is a downgrade here when compared to older Realme smartphones. The selfies look soft when captured indoors and under direct sunlight, the skin tone looks a bit over sharp.

Battery Life

The Realme 8 Pro is powered by a 4500mAh lithium-polymer battery and it will last for a day.

The 50W bundled charger juices up the smartphone battery from 0-100% in less than an hour.

The Realme 8 Pro is a lightweight smartphone packed with powerful hardware that gives a smooth performance.

The display of this smartphone is amazing and considering the other positive factors like SoC, battery life, and design this phone is worth buying for Rs.19,999.

This smartphone features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and the sensor is responsive and accurate.

The camera bump is slightly higher so if you place this smartphone on a flat surface it will not sit uniformly and a simple solution to this is to use a case cover.

At the bottom frame, there is a USB-C port, audio jack, speaker grille, and microphone for calling.

If you have a lot of calls to attend then you will love the earpiece quality as it is loud and clear furthermore, the noise-canceling mic at the top will reduce the background noise while you are in a crowded space.

The Motorola Edge 20 Fusion sports a 6.7-inch 90Hz Full HD+ AMOLED punch-hole display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels.

The panel is smooth as butter, thanks to the higher refresh rate.

This OLED panel with 10-bit colour depth offers a vivid visual experience with more 1B colours.

The display has HDR10+ support, so the multimedia experience will be amazing and the small bezels of this device offer an immersive wide viewing experience.

Processor and Performance

The Motorola Edge 20 Fusion comes equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 800U 5G SoC designed on 7-nm architecture.

It’s a power-efficient chipset and when paired with the 6GB RAM, you will be able to run multiple applications at once without facing any lag or stutter.

The Motorola Edge 20 Fusion runs Android 11 right out of the box and it’s a stock Android with zero bloatware and ads which is the USP of Motorola smartphones.

You can do gaming without noticing major frame drops and battle royale games can be played at 45fps.

The Motorola Edge 20 Fusion includes three lenses at the rear side consisting of a 108MP main sensor, 8MP ultrawide, 2MP macro sensor.

The 108MP works fine in broad daylight with good results. It’s nothing astonishing but for the price, you will get eye-pleasing photos.

The ultrawide sensor works fine in well-lit conditions and it’s great for group photos.

You can record stable video as there is EIS stabilization option. The camera application has so many features like AR stickers, Pro Mode, Burst Shot, Slow Motion, and many more to explore.

Realme is a Chinese smartphone manufacturer that gives tough competition to Xiaomi in terms of providing customers with affordable feature-rich Android smartphones.

The all-new Realme X7 is a mid-range smartphone packed with a lot of useful features retailing in the Indian market for just Rs.19,999.

Design and Build Quality

Realme is no stranger to using flashy colours and accents on their budget smartphones.

The Realme X7 is one of the most flashy Android smartphones available in the Indian market as of now.

Weighing at just 176g, this smartphone is 8.1m thick and feels comfortable in the hand. You can carry this device in your pocket without even noticing it is there.

Unlike most other smartphones in the market, the Realme 7 flaunts the volume rockers on the left side of the frame and the power button on the right. The fingerprint scanner is tucked underneath the display.

Unfortunately, there is no audio jack on this smartphone but a single USB Type-C port for charging and data syncing. Realme has provided a Type-C to 3.5mm converter in the box if that’s of any use.

The Realme X7 features a 6.4-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels.

Surprisingly, this smartphone has a standard 60Hz refresh rate but comes with an enhanced 180Hz touch sampling rate for precise touch input response.

Being an AMOLED panel, the blacks appear dark and the colours seem to pop out bright and vivid. Thanks to the higher pixel density count, the visuals appear sharp and detailed without any kind of pixelation.

With a peak brightness of 600nits, this display fares excellently indoors and fairly decent under direct sunlight as well.

Processor and Performance

The Realme X7 has the brand new MediaTek Dimensity 800U SoC with 5G radio support on board.

The new Dimensity series processors from MediaTek has significantly reduced the gap between competing Snapdragon processors in terms of performance.

The 6GB LPDDR4X RAM onboard assists the processor to handle daily chores and resource-intensive tasks like a champ, without breaking any sweat.

Thanks to the 128 UFS2.1 storage, the apps load pretty snappily and the data transfer speeds are commendable as well.

You will be able to run almost all of the modern gaming titles on this smartphone without a hitch.

The Realme X7 houses a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 64MP primary camera, an 8MP ultrawide, and a 2MP macro lens.

Photos clicked in daylight turn out pretty good with a good amount of details and colour accuracy. The green seems to be a bit oversaturated but it is a software issue and can be fixed with an OTA update nevertheless.

The ultrawide sensor captures a lot of subjects when compared to the primary shooter. The colours and details from this sensor are better than what we had expected.

The 16MP front shooter delivers average quality selfies with a softer skin tone.

Battery Life

Realme X7 is powered by a 4310mAh battery that will easily last for a day and a half with moderate usage.

The bundled 50W super dart charger juices up the battery from 0-50% in just 18 minutes, which is mindblowing, to be honest.

The Realme X7 is one of the best budget smartphones offering a mix of great performance and feature completeness for a budget under Rs.20,000.

The new Redmi Note 10S is the continuation in the Note series and is the latest smartphone of 2021 equipped with a MediaTek processor and is retailing in India for a budget under Rs.20,000.

Design and Build Quality

Redmi has shown significant improvement in the design with its Note 10 series smartphones.

The Redmi Note 10S has a polycarbonate back with flat finishing. The device looks and feels premium in hands.

The rectangular-shaped camera module with curved edges looks amazing on this smartphone.

Weighing at just 179 grams, this phone feels lightweight in hands, and thanks to its excellent weight distribution, you can use the device with a single hand.

The smartphone has dual speakers and it provides surround sound yet we still believe that a pair of good earphones will provide a better sound experience.

The device has a USB-C port at the bottom along with the audio jack. The volume controls and power button are provided on the right side.

The fingerprint sensor is doubled with the power button for faster and secure unlock.

The Redmi Note 10S has a 6.43-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels.

The display has a peak brightness of 1100 nits which makes this panel legible for outdoor use.

The colour reproduction is amazing, which is no surprise as this is an sAMOLED panel with a rich contrast ratio.

Every visual you will see look vivid and punchy and with the slim bezels on the sides, you will have a delightful experience on content consumption.

There is no high refresh rate but is acceptable for the asking price and there are no major delays we found while interacting with the panel.

At night, you can use low light mode to read an eBook or watch videos without causing much stress on your eyes.

Processor and Performance

Inside the Redmi Note 10S, there is a MediaTek Helio G95 octa-core processor designed on 12-nm architecture.

This CPU paired with the 6GB LPDDR4x RAM offers flawless performance in routine use and multitasking can be done without noticing any jitters.

The 128GB UFS 2.2 storage also helps boost the performance, the smartphone will boot up quickly and apps will load at a much higher speed compared to eMMC.

The MIUI 12.5 developed on Android 11 OS runs smoothly however, you do find some ads and bloatware. You can remove some apps but ads will remain annoying.

The Redmi Note 10S has a quad-camera setup at the back. The 64MP primary camera, 8MP ultrawide, 2MP macro, and 2MP depth sensor.

The photos that come out from the main camera have good results, the dynamic range and sharpness are good but the low-lit photos are not that pleasant.

The ultrawide lens can capture more details in photos and is excellent when it comes to group photos.

You can take portraits and the background blur effect is one of the best we have seen so far in a budget smartphone.

Surprisingly, it can record 4K videos at 30fps but stabilization is not provided so you need a tripod or gimbal to hold the device steadily.

The 13MP front camera works fine at the price range. The selfie images look good with enough sharpness and details with no issue in skin tones.

Battery Life

The Redmi Note 10S is powered by a 5000mAh battery that will last for a whole day with normal use.

The bundled 33W fast charger juice up the battery life from zero to full in 1:30 hour.

Weighing just 163g and with a slim profile of 7.45mm, the Oppo F17 is one of the lightest smartphones available for Rs.20,000.

The Oppo F17 features a tall 6.44-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. This amounts to about 408ppi and the visuals and text appear sharp and detailed.

This display offers great contrast levels and deep blacks. The colours are much more natural and vivid as well.

This panel also gets sufficiently bright up to 430 nits which are enough for good sunlight legibility.

The Oppo F17 is powered by the powerful midrange Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 SoC.

With 8GB of RAM, multitasking is great and the device breaks no sweat processing two resource-intensive apps side by side.

The device comes with 128GB of inbuilt UFS 2.1 storage and comes with a dedicated slot for memory cards.

In-display Fingerprint Scanner

The Oppo F17 is perhaps one of the cheapest smartphones which come with an in-display fingerprint sensor.

Even though this technology is in the nascent stage, it works relatively well and is almost as fast as conventional fingerprint sensors.

In the rear, the Oppo F17 features a quad-camera setup consisting of a 16MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, and two 2MP mono lenses for AI filters.

Numbers-wise, the 16MP sensor might sound pretty low for this price, but performance-wise the quality of pictures turned out to be pleasantly good with ample details and colour accuracy.

The low light photo/video performance from this sensor can be said to be decent at best.

The front camera on this device is a 16MP sensor with an aperture size of f/2.0 and has HDR support for selfies with good dynamic range.

Both the front and the rear camera supports Full HD video recording up to 30fps.

Battery Life

The Oppo F17 has a 4015mAh Li-ion battery inside which delivers excellent battery life.

Under heavy usage, this phone will last over a day comfortably with enough juice to spare for a couple of hours.

Additionally, Oppo supplies a 30W fast charger with the box, certified to be VOOC enabled, which is the company’s answer to Oneplus’s Dash charge feature.

This charger charges the battery up to 100% in just under 53 minutes.

The Oppo F17 is a premium mid-range smartphone with capable internals that justifies its price point.

What makes this device stand out from the rest is the design. The phone is a stunner when it comes to looks and is sure to turn some heads in the crowd.

Value-added features such as bundling the fast charger with the device make this a much more compelling option worth purchasing.

Not for gaming

Samsung Galaxy F41 is the newest smartphone offering from the South Korean multinational conglomerate in the budget price segment in India.

Samsung markets this sub. Rs.15,000 smartphone as a camera-centric device targeting photography enthusiasts on a shoestring budget.

Design and Build Quality

The Samsung Galaxy F41 looks and feels almost similar to many other M series models that we had reviewed on our site in the past.

The plastic back with a glossy finish has been retained here as well to cut the cost as well as reduce the overall weight of the device.

The power button and volume rockers are located on the right side of the plastic frame. These buttons are very tactile and offer responsive feedback.

The physical fingerprint scanner is located on the rear section beside the rectangular-shaped camera module.

This scanner is very accurate and feels much faster to lock and unlock the device.

As with any other modern device, the Galaxy F41 features a USB Type C port for charging and data transfer as well as a 3.5mm headphone jack for wired audio connectivity.

Samsung is known for its quality OLED panels in the budget smartphone segment which very few other smartphone OEM dare to offer.

The Galaxy F41 features a 6.41-inch FHD+ sAMOLED display with a native resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels.

This is a 19.5:9 aspect ratio panel with an infinity U shaped notch up top.

With an impressive pixel density of 403ppi, this OLED panel has inky deep blacks, vivid and bright colours and an excellent overall dynamic range.

This display gets quite bright at 420nits which makes it quite easier to use even outdoors under direct sunlight.

Processor and Performance

This is one area where the Galaxy F41 disappointed us.

This smartphone from Samsung still packs the older Exynos 9611 processor that we have seen in the likes of M21 and M31.

This octa-core processor works just fine for everyday usage but lags a bit when it comes to intense gaming.

We wish Samsung had gone with a newer version of an Exynos chip or even a comparable Qualcomm equivalent.

The base variant of this device comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage. This is very much enough for the lag-free experience even with multitasking. There is a dedicated SD card slot for increasing the storage further.

As we mentioned above, the Samsung Galaxy F41 features a triple rear camera setup.

The primary camera is a 64MP sensor with an aperture size of f/1.8 with PDAF support.

Assisting this sensor is the 8MP ultrawide sensor and 5MP depth sensor for wide-angle shots and portrait mode bokeh clicks.

The quality of pictures comes out detailed and sharp in favourable lighting conditions.

The colours look natural and vivid. Speaking of video, the F41 supports 4K and FHD video recording with decent frame rates.

The front camera is a 32MP shooter with HDR support for excellent quality selfie shots. Nighttime photos are a hit and miss depending upon the lighting and the choice of the lens.

Battery Life

The Samsung Galaxy F41 is powered by a 6000mAh Li-Po battery that is rated to last for a day and a half with heavy usage.

You can expect a screen on time of anywhere from 8-10 hours with this device.

Samsung has included a 15W fast charger in the box that juices up this device within 2.30 hours from zero to a hundred per cent.

If you want a capable non-Chinese smartphone with capable hardware, a gorgeous OLED display and long-lasting battery life, the F41 is worth checking out.

The camera module in the rear can take excellent quality daytime photos and videos which make this smartphone further appealing to budget-conscious customers.

As for the OS, the device comes pre-installed with the One UI 3.1 developed on the latest Android 11 OS. The One UI has no ads but it has too many pre-installed Samsung applications which you can remove.

The Samsung Galaxy M32 has a quad-camera setup at the rear side consisting of a 64MP main lens, 8MP ultrawide, 2MP macro, and 2MP depth sensor.

In normal lighting conditions, the main sensor performs exceptionally well. The colour reproduction is good and has balanced sharpness.

The camera app of Samsung is loaded with different modes which you can use to click better pictures.

The ultrawide sensor lacks a bit of colour accuracy and sharpness, otherwise, the details in ultrawide photos are good.

You can take portrait photos, the depth sensor will help blur the background.

Coming to the front, there is a 20MP selfie camera and to be honest, the results of the selfie are very good. The skin tones, colours, and details are well maintained.
