Jabra is a Danish audio equipment company specialized in manufacturing premium wireless headphones and earbuds, having a massive fan following all around the world.

The Jabra Elite 45h is one of the premium Bluetooth headphones from Jabra which retails in the Indian market for just Rs.8,999.

Build Quality

The Jabra Elite 45h has a complete plastic body construction with a minimal design. There is nothing aggressive or eye-catchy about this design but somehow the Elite 45h feels very aesthetically pleasing.

Even though the plastics used in the construction of this Bluetooth headphone isn’t of the best quality, it is adequately flexible and can withstand minor rough handling without any issues.

This is a non-foldable design headphone meaning you can’t fold back the earcups to save space while pushing it inside bags and backpacks.

The on-ear design is very comfortable, thanks to the ample cushioning on the earpiece as well as the headband.

However, this design has its drawback when it comes to sound isolation.

Sound Quality

The Jabra Elite 45h features 40mm speaker drivers, inside with a good amount of bass and strong vocals as well as treble notes.

The deep bass will satisfy bassheads while the crisp vocals and the tangling highs will deliver a pleasing sound output for the purists.

Concerning voice call quality, the Elite 45h features a noise-cancelling microphone which helps in providing a distortion-free clean in-call audio experience.

Miscellaneous

The Jabra Elite 45h is a Bluetooth headphone and doesn’t come with an AUX port for wired connectivity.

The playback control buttons are placed on the earpiece casing itself for easy accessibility. Furthermore, there is a dedicated button to trigger voice assistant on this headphone.

Users can customize the sound output from this wireless headphone via Jabra Sound+ app that can be downloaded from either the Play Store or the iOS store.

Battery Life

Battery Life has always been the strong suit of Jabra audio equipment. Same is the case with the Elite 45h headphone which delivers an impressive 50 hour playback time on a single charge.

This device utilizes the modern USB Type C port for charging and supports fast charging as well.

With just 10 minutes of charging time, you’ll be able to listen to music for up to 10 hours. A complete full charge from zero to hundred per cent takes around 1.30-2 hours.

Verdict

If you are after a versatile wireless headphone with well-balanced sound output and excellent long-lasting battery life, the Jabra Elite 45h is probably one of the best in the business right now.

The Sennheiser 350BT is an over the ear wireless Bluetooth headphone that comes with a bass-heavy sound signature and Qualcomm aptX codec support.

Build Quality

The design of the Sennheiser 350BTis centred around minimalism. There’s no sign of aggressive design aspects anywhere to be seen on this device.

The entire construction of this headphone is plastic. There’s not even a metal insert in between. However, it has to be noted that the plastics used are of very high quality.

The matte black finish plastic inserts add a premium look to the headphone which blends in well with the minimalistic design.

The headband is thin with not much cushioning around. The earcups are comfy with smooth and soft paddings which feel very soft and fit over the ears.

The foldable ear cups make these wireless headphones easy to be carried around.

Sound Quality

The Sennheiser 350BT uses proprietary 40mm drivers that are tuned by the company to meet the requirements of this particular model.

The Sennheiser signature profile renders a very well balanced bass-rich sound output from these speakers.

Accurate and clean audio is what we can describe as the audio output from these headphones in general. The rich bass never overpowers the mids and highs which makes the vocals crisp and clear.

This is an aptX codec supported wireless headphone.

aptX is an audio streaming codec from Qualcomm that delivers exceptional sound quality with wireless audio transfer with compatible Bluetooth devices.

Miscellaneous

This premium wireless headphone comes with app support with which you can tune the audio according to your liking.

Powered by the Bluetooth 5.0 technology, the signal quality and reception is excellent. The Bluetooth radio inside provides a reception radius of well over 30 feet.

BUY FROM AMAZON

Pros

Robust build quality

Cons

Sony is a brand that needs no introduction among audiophiles all across the globe.

The Sony WH-CH710N is an over the ear wireless headphone that is a premium budget offering with a dual-sensor noise cancellation feature onboard for a budget just under Rs.10,000.

Build Quality

Sony has always given preference to the functions over the design aesthetics. However, it doesn’t mean that the products are ugly.

The WH-CH710N has a minimal design but we felt this form factor to be more attractive than the others on this list.

The pressure-relieving ear pads are one of the unique aspects of this wireless earphone.

The soft texture that fits snug on the earlobes offers utmost comfort and minimal sound leakage to the exteriors.

The media control buttons on this wireless Bluetooth headphone from Sony are slightly raised from the earpiece chassis and give very satisfying tactile feedback when pressed.

Sound Quality

To understand the capability of this headphone, we have to discuss something at first – the frequency response spectrum.

The frequency response spectrum defines the range in which the headphone speakers can output the sound. The lesser it is, the more will be the bass and the higher it is, the more will be the treble.

Covering a broad frequency response spectrum along with the neodymium drivers makes this one of the best bass intense wireless headphones on the market.

The 30mm neodymium-magnet drivers inside deliver cleaner and rich bass that makes you groove to the beats.

If you’re a bass head, you’ll love to pick this up wherever you’d go. The punchy undistorted bass makes this wired headphone best suited for listening to EDMs and hip hop music.

The treble and vocals are gracefully retained and don’t get overpowered by the thundering bass it delivers.

Noise Cancellation

The dual microphones on this wireless headphone capture ambient noises front and back and negate its effects digitally, providing a calm and serene music experience.

The specially crafted ambient mode which when turned on selectively allows certain ambient sound to reach your ears, making you aware of the surroundings.

Connectivity and Battery Life

Powered by the Bluetooth v5.0, this wireless headphone shines with low energy consumption compared to its power-hungry predecessors.

NFC is one of the technologies Sony products tend to feature the most, be it smartphones or Bluetooth speakers. NFC enables quick pairing with compatible devices.

The battery life doesn’t suffer much even with the abundance of connectivity options. This wireless headphone features an impressive 35-hour battery life at moderate volume levels.

The Sony WH-CH710N supports fast charging, thanks to the USB Type C port. With just 10 minutes of charge, you can continue listening to music for up to 1 hour.

Verdict

If you are a die-hard bass fanatic who would love to have deep bass with no distortions in whatever genre of music you intend to listen to, this wireless headphone is made for you.

The solid build quality and the reliability of a brand such as Sony makes this purchase well worth your hard-earned money.

The JBL Tune 750BTNC is a simple and elegant premium budget over the ear headphones that comes with ANC (Active Noise Cancellation) on board.

Build Quality

The fit and finish of the JBL Tune 750BTNC exudes confidence and feels very durable in hand. The stylish fabric used in this over the ear headphone compliments the sleek design very well.

The headband adjustment controls are very easy and feature multiple steps. You can precisely adjust the length according to your head and maintain a tight-fitting yet comfortable posture.

Sound Quality

The audio output from the speakers is detailed with sound from each instrument feeling distinct and audible. The vocals sound crisp and neither the bass nor the treble overshadows it in any way.

Active Noise Cancellation

The ANC feature on the JBL Tune 750BTNC keeps unwanted background noises at bay, providing you with a calm and serene music listening environment.

However, ANC drains a lot of juice in the process, thereby significantly decreasing the battery life.

Miscellaneous

The JBL Tune 750BTNC comes with a detachable cable in the box. This 3.5mm cable can be made use of when the battery is depleted and you still want to continue listening to your favourite music.

This braided wire is of very high quality and feels rock solid. It can even withstand abuses and function properly afterwards.

Battery Life

Yes, the JBL Tune 750BTNC feels small and compact when compared with other competitors on this list. But battery life isn’t.

The Li-ion cell inside the device lasts for about 22 hours on a single charge. With the ANC turned on, expect this number to be somewhere around 15 hours.

With less than two and half hours to fully charge from 0 to 100%, we felt that this number is quite reasonable.

Verdict

The JBL Tune 750BTNCT is a strong performer with a large sound stage and incredible quality audio output
If you’re looking for a lightweight and compact alternative to the pricier premium headphones, this one might be the best bet for you.

  1. Sir please rectify your statement for Sennheiser 350BT which is it has 3.5mm aux output which it actually doesn’t have!!! It was misleading for me for a bit but then as I already had some information about it earlier so again in doubt I checked in the official site and its not present. In my case, I knew the mistake but for others it’s pure misleading so please rectify it ASAP

    • Hi Kaushal!

Thank you for pointing out the mistake! In the short specification description it is clearly mentioned that this device doesn’t have a 3.5mm aux input jack. Sorry for the confusion in the article as we inadvertently missed to remove the line stating the same, that crept in during the continuous product update cycle.

  3. Thanks for the reply. I will surely check the Edifier model. How about Marshall Major III in comparison to edifier ? also if going for cheaper options less than 5k, Fire Bolt Blast 1400 is good ?

    Reply
    • Hi Thiagu!
The Marshal Major III doesn’t come with ANC support which you said was one of the primary concerns. However, the Major III has decent passive noise cancellation and a wide sound signature with clean stage separation that every audiophile would love to listen to, no matter which genre of music he/she is addicted to.

If you are looking for a device below Rs.5,000, the Fire Bolt Blast 1400 is indeed a great value for money purchase, thanks to its overall solid sound output quality and the stellar battery life.
